Power Management Recognition Issues

If Windows is not recognizing your power management/power scheme settings, try the following command:

sfc /scannow

Windows will verify that all protected Windows files are intact and in their original versions. The Windows installation disc will be required. The power scheme setting should work properly after the scan.
